In the time of Moses, the children of Israel were to follow this leader ordained by God into the Promised Land of Canaan. Along the way, this generation aroused God's anger by their disobedience and unbelief, thereby forfeiting their inheritance. But in the deserts - in the wilderness - in the drylands - the old generation passed, a new generation was raised up, and a new breed was born. A breed of desert warriors, battle-hardened and prepared to take possession of the land God promised them. They were the Joshua generation...and in this age we live in, the Joshua generation is once again rising up to take hold of the promises of God and move forward with the empowerment of the Holy Spirit that the prophet Joel spoke of and that Peter reiterated in Acts when they proclaimed, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions..." The power of God has not diminished, His people have. But this chosen generation has a fire burning within them that is soon to explode with the Light of the Lord's Might and penetrate the darkness of this broken world in need of a Saviour....Revival is coming and it begins with this generation that chooses to be Dangerous Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, King of Glory...and we have all of heaven backing us up. It's time to take possession of the land God has given us.
